People are always asking us what we love to do at Walt Disney World Resort in the Spring. One of our most favorite Spring activities that we coordinate for our Mad Hatter family is Epcot’s annual International Flower & Garden Festival. EPCOT is always lovely and a true feast for the senses, but during this blossoming festival, things really are kicked up a notch.

This year’s festival is over, but 2018 plans are already being made. The Garden Rocks Concerts are always a fan favorite- and we are hopeful that in 2018 they will again have dining packages that allow you to get priority seating for your chosen concert.

In 2017, two new outdoor kitchens were added, bringing the total to 15. We can not wait to see what they add for 2018! The fare available at the outdoor kitchens was divine! We particularly loved the Lamb Chop with Quinoa Salad and Blackberry Gastrique at The Berry Basket. Also a favorite was the Antipasta Misto dish at Primavera Kitchen.

Throughout lovely EPCOT, there were nearly 100 topiaries on display for us to enjoy. I have shared some of these images with you, but you simply must see them in person to gain an appreciation for the effort that goes into them. There were even over 200 mini gardens floating on the water in 2017.

There were plenty of goodies available for sale all over the park, too. I enjoyed perusing all of the interesting items for sale and even saw bonsai trees and boiled book crafts this time around.

We always have an amazing time at the festival, and hope you will get to share in this in 2018 as well!
