The official word came down today that Chip and Dale’s meet and greet location will be in the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom’s Town Square and that the Frontierland absence will be filled by the Country Bears. This announcement follows a huge social media campaign to get Jessie from Toy Story as a meet and greet character, so it is likely to make some fans unhappy. Personally, we are happy about the opportunity to pose with Liverlips, Wendel, Shaker, and of course- Big Al! The meet and greet will be a moving event, not at the previous Chip and Dale location.

My family won’t be visiting the bears. We’re very disappointed Jessie and Woody still haven’t been brought back. 😦
um no. These bears are so so creepy and borderline offensive with their “redneck” smiles and droopy eyes. No one remembers this movie or really cares about them and I’m sure kids won’t be too keen about meeting some goofy bears instead of toy story charaters or even chip and dale. You know, RELEVANT characters.
I find it extremely odd that these Bears were chosen over Jessie and Woody. Not sure what on earth the logic behind it would be. I would not visit them- they look creepy. We are big Toy Story fans, as I’m sure a billion other people are.
They’re not creepy!
Besides, you can still meet Woody at Hollywood Studios and it’s extremely likely that Jessie will return there too when Toy Story Land opens.
