It’s official- Disney will soon have a new validation system for Fastpass+ usage inside of all of the Walt Disney World Resort parks.

Our source at Disney has told us that the new term “In-Park Validation” is being used to describe the new system. They will be using the system to close several bypass methods that have been used by Guests and Cast Members alike, to include unofficial “guides” hired outside of Disney.

The new system will reference the guest to make sure that said guest used an active ticket for admission prior to using the Fastpass+. If the guest has not used an active ticket, they will be denied entry to the attraction. If there are repeat attempts for that same guest, they will have their MyDisneyExperience accounts locked out of using the Fastpass+ booking option entirely.  As mistakes do occur, Guest Relations will be able to unblock accounts should that happen.

While we have no definitive date that this will begin, we want to inform all of our Mad Hatter clients that it will happen during the next few weeks.  Many believe this is a great idea and will cut down on lines and wait times a bit- what do you think?
