How magical is EPCOT to you at night?
Are you planning on staying at the new Art of Animation hotel?
When we were younger and a new hotel opened, it was a Dillo tradition to drive over to the new area and check it out. We were always intrigued to see the new theme Disney had come up with, how the pool area may be different than some others and whether or not we would be won over by the lobby alone.

One of the first questions I’m usually asked when discussing travel to Disney World is “Where should I stay?” I’d love to say that there’s a single answer that is right for everyone, but there really isn’t. I think the discussion comes down to one major question. Do you want to stay on property or off. There are pros and cons to each and I’m here to help you separate the two and make the decision that works best for you and your family.
Let’s start with staying on property, i.e. in one of the Disney owned resorts:
Staying on Disney property is a great experience and one that I recommend everyone try at least once. When you stay on property, it’s like the magic continues from the time you wake up until you go back to sleep. Disney resorts are well maintained and range from economical to luxurious. All…

One of the things I hear people say fairly often is that they’re waiting for their children to be older before they go to Disney World. While I do understand the desire to have your children remember the trip and have it be special, I also have to say that Disney World is truly workable for a vacation even with small children and infants. You just need to understand a few simple things and plan well. Personally, I have been to Disney while pregnant with each of my three daughters, and I’ve taken each of them for their first trips before their first birthdays. I’m pretty sure I was a sight to behold walking around Disney World obviously pregnant and with another baby riding around in a carrier strapped to my chest. Even…

Think about how we can improve the way we live and work? Sounds like a good idea. Your thoughts about the IBM connection?
Will you be attending on February 24th?
I got an e-mail over the weekend from the folks at Dapper Day.
If you’re interested in this twice yearly Walt Disney World event, start getting your duds starched and pressed because you’re going to need them Sunday, February 24th, 2013.
As you probably remember, this much-loved event takes place at most Disney Parks worldwide but is not a Disney Company event — the participants merely gather at a site on Disney property.
One of this year’s events is scheduled to take place at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
Again this years, there will be After Dapper Drinks, this time being held at two Walt Disney World Resorts, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian.
Also, new this year is a PIN issued by Disney to commemorate the Day. You can find out more about the pin and according to the e-mail, order…
